FAQ

How is appliance electricity cost calculated?

Watts ÷ 1000 × hours = kWh; kWh × your tariff = cost. A 100 W bulb on for 10 hours uses 1 kWh — typically €0.25–0.40.

Where do I find my kWh price?

It's on your electricity bill, usually in ct/kWh. The final per-kWh figure on most bills already includes grid fees.

What uses the most electricity?

Heating and cooling dominate: electric heaters, air conditioners and dryers cost 10–100× more per hour than lights, laptops or routers.
